With online classes, home responsibilities, and efforts to practice self-care despite the uncertainty of the times, it can be easy to overlook the good in life. By reaching out to those closest to you, you are able to reflect on the support you have and show your appreciation. Expressing gratitude and focusing on the good helps me keep a positive mindset about the times and motivated for when things go back to normal

I've noticed that when I eat without distractions like my phone or computer, the process of eating is actually more enjoyable. By this I mean I focus on enjoying my food in that moment and enjoying the time I'm spending to eat a meal. Whether it be with my family or just a snack by myself, practicing mindful eating helps me disconnect from the constant information overload that comes from being on social media or email all day.

Having these daily challenges and being among a community of other motivated individuals is very helpful in encouraging me to fulfill at least one of my daily challenges each day. I find that pursuing a healthier, more mindful lifestyle is helping me stay positive in these uncertain times.
