REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My Home or Dorm RoomHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Abigail Foxwell 4/07/2020 12:32 PMBy having a better system of organizing I can eliminate the pile-up. I need to go through my old clothes that can be donated monthly or thrown away. I need to get better at also putting my clothes away in a timely manner. I sometimes forget about it and put it off because of my other responsibilities. I need to start doing as I fold them they go in the drawers instead of sitting in a basket. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Explore My AreaHow might spending more time outdoors enhance your brainpower?
Abigail Foxwell 4/02/2020 6:32 PMBeing outside helps clear the mind and center one's self. I have found this to be quite helpful especially in this difficult time. It helps with focusing and releases serotonin. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Turn it offHow is electricity generated where you live? How does it impact the environment, animals, and humans?
Abigail Foxwell 4/01/2020 4:10 PMI believe is natural gas which is terrible for the environment. Drilling for shale hurts the ecosystems from runoff due to the chemicals used to the sinkholes and earthquakes that can occur from it. Earthquakes were not really common in Pa but in 2019 we have 7 earthquakes. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Go for a Daily WalkHow do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?
Abigail Foxwell 4/01/2020 4:06 PMIt is more peaceful. The wind, the birds, and sights are beautiful. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersFive minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?
Abigail Foxwell 3/31/2020 2:32 PMI am now working on reducing how much hot water I used because of the energy used to create the hot water from the heater. We have a heater that is designed to use less energy but only does so much. By reducing my hot water usage I can help more. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Abigail Foxwell 3/31/2020 2:28 PMExercise is a family affair. Every morning and night my sister, my mom and I work out together. We do cardio and strength.
