Zoe's actions
Water
5-Minute Showers
I will save up to 20 gallons (75 L) of water each day by taking 5-minute showers.
Water
Use Reusable Bottles
I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 3 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.
Waste
Reduce Single-Use Disposables
Historically, marginalized and low-income communities live closer to landfills, contributing to a multitude of health problems. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate.
Simplicity
De-Clutter My Home or Dorm Room
I will de-clutter, clean, and donate or recycle unneeded items in my home or dorm room.
Water
Brush My Teeth Without Running Water
I will save up to 8 gallons (30 L) of water each day by turning it off while brushing my teeth.

Zoe Mummert 3/28/2020 12:05 PMIn the past couple of days I decided to go through all of my belongings and get rid of stuff that I thought was unnecessary to have. I repainted my room, decluttered, and went through clothes that I plan on donating to my local good will. Self distancing can really have its perks!-
Kenneth Slaysman 3/28/2020 12:18 PMZoe,
That's great. I'm glad the although you are physically distancing yourself, you are remaining socially connected.
