Kay Tate 4/20/2020 10:21 AMGot rid of my ratty old sweater that I wear around the house. It really has seen better days and was time to go. I did cut off the 12 buttons that were still in good shape to use again. Part of the cotton sweater was cut to be used as rags. Tried to recycle as much as I could. It has been a good comfy friend. -
Kay Tate 4/14/2020 9:58 AMI am amazed at how much compost one person can create. This is because I am home full time now and not at work. -
Kay Tate 4/14/2020 9:56 AMCleaned out part of the garage this past week. Today the garbage man is going to wonder what happened. I tried to recycle as much as possible. It does feel good to see things go. -
Kay Tate 4/12/2020 6:06 PMUsed some of my fresh parsley and oregano in my lasagna sauce today. So easy to snip of the window ledge. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Plant an Herb GardenConsider the ways you can garden: a plot of land? a patio container? hanging basket? windowsill gardens? What would work best for your living situation and lifestyle?
Kay Tate 4/08/2020 12:06 PMCreated a windowsill herb garden. Used some of my compost to add to the soil. Sometimes I shake the basil leaves just so I can smell them. Producing a lot of parsley and basil right now. -
Kay Tate 4/07/2020 6:34 AMFound a way to use up some of the fabric that I have packed away. Making cotton masks.
