Team Feed
Recent updates from this team-
April 27 at 9:01 AMBy expressing gratitude, we receive a gift otherwise unclaimed, and gather a surfeit of joyous intention to share.
-
April 27 at 7:13 AMIt's rather difficult to find places that allow more eco-friendly shopping such as bring your own container, and the amount of gas burned to get to the closest place offering that option defeats the point.
-
April 27 at 7:10 AMThe compost is going into existing garden space. We have noticed that most of the items being used for composting are rinds and cores of fruits and veggies (and coffee grounds).
-
April 27 at 7:08 AMI think since our yard tends to flood it may be best to build raised beds around the existing garden space (which contains plants suited to swampy ground).
-
April 27 at 6:45 AMI'm always amazed by how slow I am at first, especially if I haven't gone for a walk in a while. And then, I'm amazed by how far I've walked through the halls of my mind. And then by how sore my body can feel. It matters less where I walk because as I move I fall further and further into my own mind.
-
April 27 at 6:43 AMAs I increasingly read more about food import guidelines, I find myself reducing the amount and types of food I'm willing to consume. I keep a guideline of seafood according to SeaFood Watch in my wallet and at least for seafood, I don't eat anything from the list of things to avoid. It's a small step.
-
April 27 at 3:29 AMI visited our local recycling center AND a wastewater treatment plant. Both are fascinating.
-
April 27 at 3:29 AMSocial inequalities serve to allow us to designate people as "other", when in fact, there's very little that separates us.
-
April 27 at 3:26 AMI've lent out a number of tools and equipment to friends and borrowed some in return rather than purchasing something new.
-
April 27 at 3:26 AMI have not used a piece of paper in two months.
