    Wait up to 2-3 days before purchasing an item I'm interested in.

    We always pull the plug on our modem every night and unplug cords from the wall when a unit (iPad or phone) is not being charged. Also, my cell phone is mostly used as that, a phone when I am not at home.  At home, it is turned off so it does not need charging often.

    5 minute showers have actually not been that hard! They made me realize how much time I used to waste just standing there.

    By setting a time for adjusting to changes in temperature outside, the house can maintain a comfortable feeling instead of playing catch-up to the change which seems to take longer.

    Everything is going well.  I'm enjoying sharing the ideas I get with my family, and they like to see the points adding up.

    We can hold town meetings to talk about water conservation, as well as how to prevent pollution of waterways.  It seems to be doing really well, as streams are clear.

    I'm sure we have all of this in our area, but they come at unexpected times.  I'm lucky to live in a neighborhood where many folks collect their water to use on plants, and water conservation is discussed in town meetings.

    I generally pick vegetables, like cucumbers, for which I use every part.  For broccoli, I cut up the stalks, as well, and cook them into breakfast with eggs or into dinner with the stir-fry.  Stir-fry is a great way to use all the parts of the vegetable.

    This does not surprise me.  I am very frugal, so $1500 a year would go a long way for my family.  However, we typically plan our meals, and with five kids, there are never any leftovers.  Additionally, I use all food purchased, and we do not throw anything away.
