Spending time outdoors helps me (and I'm sure many other people) be more focused when I go back to work. I have found that I am more motivated if I start my day with physical activity. Also, in light of current events it can boost your immune system to spend times outdoors.

It is definitely easier to do this challenge because of quarantine, but I am still trying to do mostly everything online. My friends and I had a Zoom meeting today instead of all separately driving our cars and meeting somewhere.

It's very easy for me to just not buy plastic water bottles because of where I live. I know other places aren't as lucky because they don't have a clean water source, but I also always carry a reusable water bottle with me. I don't know about other areas of the world, but it's almost a fashion statement to have a Hydroflask or a Yeti where I'm...

I agree with Kathleen Dean Moore. I think the more you appreciate something, the more you want that thing to succeed and stay healthy. Everyday it is important to be grateful for the things around you. It doesn't always have to pertain to nature; however, nature is our livelihood and therefore important to revere as such. As a society I think...

One of the next steps that I can take is watching what products I use in the shower to make sure that no micro plastics or chemicals are going down the drain and into our water supply.

Usually we use a lot of single-use coffee cups which could be easily substituted for a reusable cup.

If I find myself in a position of not having a reusable bag with me when I am getting groceries I always try and carry as much as I can without a bag and or use the cart to put the items in. One way that as a family we try and use reusable bags and not forget is we leave a lot in the cars so that way we always have them and don't have to worry...

In my area we have specific recycle bins for our trash which make it much easier to remember to recylce anything you can and also a good encouragement. We also have a lot of recycle places for your clothes around which make it super easy to drop off you clothes and go. In my household we actually have a garbage can that is seperated into...

One thing that we can do to reduce the unnecessary use of plastic water bottles is make a choice instead of buying a plastic water bottle, fill a water bottle up at your house and bring it to the event. One barrier is that you need to wash your water bottle after you are done using it instead of just throwing it away. This might be an extra...

Well, since the city and township got rid of glass recycling for our community, I feel everyone is affected by that. However, hopefully, that will be changing very soon. It is good to see how many people were concerned when no one could no longer recycle glass. Others affected by environmental irresponsibility are those who live along the lake...
